HOW IT WORKS:
The principle of the test is based on the detection of "pregnancy hormone" hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) in urine. Upon contact with the hormone, a chemical reaction occurs that tints the litmus particles of the test. In the early stages of pregnancy hCG concentration (pregnancy hormone) in the body increases very rapidly and 1-2 weeks after conceiving reaches between 25-100 mIU/ml. Conceiving occurs at the time of ovulation - i.e. about the middle of the menstrual cycle.
Thus, it is around 2 weeks at the time of the expected menstruation period from the time of conceiving, so the hormone concentration is high enough to indicate the pregnancy.
